i have no choice but to swallow these tears
i try to choke back
shed by my souls hypnotizing eyes crying
pieces of myself from skies
i unconciously collect in my hearts chalice that nears
my thirsty lips that crack
in sins breeze stopping me quick from flying
with my innerself that tries
to lift me
from the ground
but i'm
gagged and bound

until the end arrives in the blink of an eye
bringing me home
because in the end it's true my body will die
freeing my soul to roam

among my angelic kin
once again

i feel so lost and empty during this time
i stand everso still
melting in the dead of the night while i freeze in the day
reminding me of the pain
i bring upon myself that i continue to climb
liquid emotions i spill
into my drink causing my veins to run grey
in the cleansing rain
molding me
to the ground
constantly
gagged and bound

awaiting another piece of peace of mind
to remove this weight
weighing down my wingsight that had been blind
now watching my path bend straight

leading me home
to you
