as smoldering
embers dance
into the sky
they are met
with kisses
from fresh snow
drifting
down from
withering stars
that had
been birthed
by cliffs
of nebulas

as swirling
winds promenade
into wormholes
they become
caught up in
meshugs
from friends
from days
that haven't
ended

in the distance gorgeous green
meteor showers multiplywood
petrified by procrastinated choices
liquifing in lifelines
collected by cupped hands unseen
dripping life that should
alternate death with harmonious voices
singing from halo's vines

can you hear us???

standing in line
holding hands
like we're playing
a game of red-rover
calling out your
numbing name

can you feel us???

screaming in synchronicity
intertwining our tones
like a needle through
popcorn strewn around the
Tree of Life
celebrating
compassion

upon clouds
under a skyless
moment

this piece is amazing *I have soooo missed being around* the imagery in this piece and what you express here is just brilliant--the way each word connects with the next and each line to the next--simply beautiful

i love the ending... great phrasing... also the conclusion of the second stanza's imagery is damn fine; in fact, you have a lot of rich imagery here! lovely piece. :)
