:Shotgun
Alarm clock
static:

"..Suddenly,
I'm not half the
man I used to be."

Demential remission.

Gasping for air
and recollection.

Cold water runs
over broken hands,
clotted blood clings
to porcelain tile
and steel drains..

Juggernaut
slow motion
rewind.

Fragments of mirror
re-piece into shifting
refractions of time
and intention.

"There's a shadow
hanging over me
Oh, yesterday
Came suddenly"

Glass block windows
gleam in the sunrise.

--

Hark...

Curse your cries,
O' raptor.

Be you vulture,
raven or dove.
There is no
matter of
your feather.

You bid me no well.

--

"Why she
Had to go
I don't know
She wouldn't say"

Winged shadows loom
over still silhouettes
hung upon pressed
shower curtains.

Downfall.

Knees shatter
in the wake
of springs
gentle breeze.

Tears spill aside
amber bottles and
scattered pills.

Clawing for warmth
in her hand laid
over the basin side.

Gold heart on her breast
from valentines day,
he lays, 12 gauge.

"Oh I believe,
in yesterday.."

Stinging insight from the demise of two souls under a reflection of one living another day. This is tearing from all it's bloody edges. Outstanding.

concur with glass. . .an haunted dark lovespunloss piece; a modern conceptual sonnet of sorts; some kind of gorgeous deathblow. . . ness

each word is a piercing elegy of thought and abstract morph; as thought the details are juggernaut-thrusting into the mind's eye; kaleidoscopic collisions and imaginative otherworld trippings....exquisite poetry, I like very much your dance

I LOVE this song! And this poem was flawless. You've created something that sings like a tribute and reads like a postapocolyptic lullaby or eulogy. Beautiful. --Jes
