Blink.

Skyward eyes
inverted, black
with wist and woe.

Cinematic
mercurial
tear drops.

Running in
nameless rivers,
churning
weathered mills
of dementia.

+--+

Rusted
seized
turbines.

Spit their
dying sparks
illuminating
vast ancient
dreadscapes.

A post traumatic
insurgence of faith,
force fed antidotes
and bled out awe...

Burnt into
steel retinas
long gone.

+--+

Blind.

Cross lit eyes
inverted back
in flame and loathe.

Enigmatic
ethereal
entropy.

Erupts in
spineless shivers,
scourging,
celestial sills
of (s)inertia.

+--+

Forging
fatal
framework
of decay's
dissected
delusions.

Plaiting it's
pestilent
poison pulse .
with mine.

At last
ascending
aimlessly
into oblivion.

It's hard to kneel
on broken knees.

The spinning of words play into a tone of faithless power left in rebellion. To understand what was learned is broken and truth comes from bandaged knees. Awesome..write.

Smashed brain, mind in decay, the crumble after the trip, fall, broken face and shattered bones. Fuckin' brilliant piece, fuckin' fantastic use of language and turn of phrase. -Carl

You are an intelligent guy, and I am still astounded at the sharp complexity of this piece. In a field of toothpick sized whispers, this is an immense asphyxiating column, this is poetry by a poet. Thanks.

I found the alliteration with this further impacted it within my skull, and your images are never-ceasing, as always. This is gorgeous. The closing lines.. flawless.

"Spit their dying sparks illuminating vast ancient dreadscapes." damn, the imagery in this was perfect. "It's hard to kneel on broken knees."...and that ending. stunning.
