+--+

The sun implodes
in silence and faltered faith,
as the final golden sunrise,
transfigures to hazed grey skies.

+--+

Ensuing firestorm erupts,
in breach of the horizon.
Unveiling, at long last,
the portrait of god,
tranquility, ruin.

+--+

All that remains,
Vacuum,
constricting breath,
From seized lungs.

Man and god live here, no more.

Sol is right the objectivity of the narrative is to die for.A dark reality that few have the balls to think about...but you were never a sheep.I love the second verse. The climax instantly the anti-climax.Awesome.

...Like the hero of a film walking through the door for his first scene...some one guns him down before he utters a word...Salvation:Denied.

A quiet apocalypse (revealing of the hidden) Even the words designating impact come out calm...It feels like inevitability, like resignation... "Tranquility, ruin." Completely mind blowing, reverence...

lovely imagery and description. each break between stanzas makes for a perfect brief moment to invision and gather all that was said before. if this were to really happen...i think it would happen just like this.
