+--+

Reigning the skies in pallid grey splendor,
clenched in the grasp of a relentless winter.
The earth grew mute, wrapped in slumber,
as life became vague and hindered.

+--+

Snow settles over forests ancient,
as elder stars glow incandescent,
radiant with reborn hope and patience,
as war and plague settle across all nations.

This strikes me as very sad actually. I get a combination message of unworthy and unecessary regeneration. Maybe I'm off. Either way it seems more a serene message than a desperate one and I enjoyed it. ~Ship!
