Boy in a Wheelchair Listening to Radiohead In A London Subway Station
"How to Disappear Completely"

Beyond the beauty of the external
He is moving his mouth in a strange way
(Girl watches him from the side of her eyes,
She is the "paranoid android"

Stupidly afraid.)

Even still he is waving his arms as if
The entire world was his universe, spinning waves
Breaking rhythms as if they were storms
His head leaning weirdly but should he care?
(She sighs, and thinks

“Creep.”)

Breathing in the music as the noise of the train
Rushes in, he smiles like a new born alien;
A "subterranean homesick alien"
(And she wonders, why does his eyes
Roll up inside his head

Like that?)

Gone in a wild spin the world does not see him,
It does not see the Picasso constellation that is his womb;
Those wheels beneath him are just his legs.
Perhaps he can see the colours we were meant to hear...
(And just like that, sparks fly from the girls
Eyes, and she smiles, but still

Looks away.)

"I'm not here
This isn't happening
I'm not here
I'm not here..."

it would be good if thom were to read it himself, this was masterfully composed, yet as soulfull and somewhat jazzlike as radiohead

Loved the hustle-bustle life in this one. Definately played in my head like a movie. Reminded me a little of "Nightwatch", but then again, everything to do with subways reminds me of "Nightwatch". Loved it. And I love Radiohead. Just thought I'd say

OK Computer! A piercing look at inner worth, drawn with acute references to a fave band. Excellence here. "It does not see the Picasso constellation that is his womb" - magnificent.

Cool construction with references that fit with peg like precision. Liberating style, I like very much.

I have actually seen people on streets and sidewalks walk away from ones they thought were "strange or odd"... however, I always embrace and welcome it! This makes me think, and remember what being human is about. Well done, yeah. Julia~

This is stylishly and very cleverly written - loved the working-in of the songs; a beautifully and touchingly observed piece. It's lovely. I think I'll keep it.

Inspired of course, by the advert on television. But moreso, it delves into the landscape of music and meaning, mentality and attitude. Eye-opening for most. Good work.

Yes; I was wondering if anyone would recognize that, or have seen that ad... well spotted, and thanks.
