Violent beams of dawn's song
Found their way through the break
In the miniblinds
Sweaty passion stenched the room
Clothes seemed to have found their way
In the oddest of places
A turtleneck decorated the chair
A bra performed its impression
Of a weeping willow on the halogen lamp
Pairs of socks played a twisted game of tic-tac-toe
With an assortment of shoes and condom wrappers
Got to knock the drunk cobwebs away.
Two cups of water
One filled with tap water
The other...saline
Saline does not work well with a parched throat
Funny though...
Saline is for contacts
I don't wear contacts
Maybe it is the owner of that tuft of hair
Poking out from the comforter
Next to me...
