Deciding steps
More apt to fall
Frequently beneath
Unsteady breaths

And the oxygen
Is unstable here

The roads
Are too straight

North heading west

And we’re
Southbound.

Traveling one
Thousand miles
Per second
And going nowhere.

Poor judgment

No, lack of
Respect.

Twisting
Twining
Forked
Pandemonium

It tastes sweet
To face the ground
And take one step
Backward.

This isn't
Home anymore.

clever word play with such heavy feelings... the ending an emergency break of killing realization... great mind tweaking as always

It wasn't until I got to the end that I understood the start and middle, nice plot.
