And we
Wear walking
Smiles.

Held together
Like bibles.

And our lips
Hang from bottles..
Writing the tragedies
Into our teeth.

Scowling at the
Smell.
And we
Grin
And bare it.

Choking back
The worst.

Laughing back
At ourselves.

And every
Kiss in the
Dark is quiet.

As we stare
Into the silence..
Listening
To the
Music.

This was excellent, Kerry. I loved the bible imagery and how it gave me a sort of heartsick gritty feeling... ♥.
