I’m glancing out the window
At the cloudless, azure sky
If I were to see you,
You’d be the clouds floating by

Drifting in the wind
My eyes endlessly denied
Glimpsing the beauteous form
And divinity that’s inside
Of your body and your soul
The temple that is your mind
Longing, I am, for the sunset
Where our cognizance resides

But, my shadow has grown longer
With a quite rapid decay
So, I’ve nearly lost all hope
That I’ll kiss those lips today.
Thus, this was my intent,
To feel your breath crawling down my neck
And without these lustful thoughts
I still would not forget

That love abounds the bluest skies
And darkest trenches deep
And facing out the window
My consciousness asleep

I needn’t hear a whisper
Or the appeal of your voice
A lasting image lingers here
Much to ardent love’s rejoice.

I’ve glanced out many windows
At cloudless, azure skies
Waiting for my cloud
To come floating by.

So, fast asleep I must conclude
She must be by my side.
