Sensations evade capture under a canopy of stars,
Frost bitten on concrete shells,
Leaving amblotic scars,
Every crack in the asphalt brought by constant sighing:
Echoes from shivering maples at bay,
To be rooted and trapped with parasites
And hybrinating worms,
Soil churns as long dead squirm beneath the wall,
Out of life,
Out of time,
Blood from ice in sugared veins
Taste of millenias catch your tongue-
Shattered street light on pavement dying
As fire fights young pagans for,
Life under a moon lit sky covered in silt,
Crackling ember brings waves of guilt
And lost attraction,
Sucked in by a vortex of abstraction
Under blankets of charcoal snow
Held by wilting grass and blow-ing aphids away
Into their last events,
Under Catholic preacher tents, and Capricorn denial
Of causing Cancer and crashing Taurus into the pole downtown
Made of steel, and dead lovers
