By moonlight's shine, a second nature
A growing malcontent with life
A rose's bloom has decayed and fallen
Even as the dew is renewed
As sunlight shines over the burdened hills
Malevolency kisses the newborn progeny
The faithful kinship of the flowing wind
Dances as the day is young
But the weight of the world, however still
Continues to slip

...away

"Malevolency kisses the newborn progeny", that line in particular blew me away. A lovely piece, stunning imagery. ~L

Freestyle! Rock on. Clear and beautiful imagery, but still intriguing and somehow ambiguous. I like this one a lot.

you have wonderful imagery in this... no rhyme, yet a smooth, gentle flow of words. indeed, "good stuff"

that must be a nice feeling. Haven't discovered it yet. Good stuff my friend. :::OLd
