Silhouettes burned into the pavement
Rancid flowers spring from patches of lawn
A woofer in the distance,
Sprays music from tinted windows
As the smoke rises
New fertilization for the already deceptive scenery
A hasty retreat through pot hole ridden asphalt
Creates artificial hydraulics
Sparks fly from worn rims
Burning rubber leaves its mark
Knocking the wind from the '69 Impala
A rush of bandannas and ski masks through the alley
The predator becoming the prey
The newly crowned hunter,
Backs its pack of wolves into the brick wall
[The drones have leaked from the hive]
Emitting death with rapid succession
The process repeating
Again, and again;Day, after day
Burning silhouettes into the pavement
