I found God’s rotted body
In a shallow grave and sand
And I stood above like Ajax
And with strength of hand
Tore the guts from the cavity
And white bones and carried them
And made them mine

What an excellent bit to twist the mind about. It provokes thinking for the joy of thought.

a short, fleeting insight of how the contemporary language morphs into the mythical/Biblical enterprises of imagination. I like the 'scrimshaw' description Solace offers; it reminds of wastelands, carrion skulls and the desolation of Apocalpyse to come; judgement day of us all; perhaps wearing the mask of 'god'...thought provoking and originally 'dark'...very good work

Rather insightful piece, like a scrimshaw out of bone - some primordial corpse covered in scribble and pretensions...But theres more, it feels like responsibility and burden. I could take this two ways, and have equally found both important. Brilliant work from a great mind.

E-bay...i'll pay with my soul, after all i would only be returning the favor. Interesting write, it would certainly create quite the who-haa.

Oh, and what are you going to do with them now? (Just curious...) So yes, your poem seems to be a good one since you make the reader definitely wonder: "What the hell is that person going to do with the bones?"
