I sit in the middle of your tracks,
your train barreling through me,
every time I am reminded of you.

I sit in the middle of your tracks,
crushed time and time again,
every time I am reminded of you.

I sit in the middle of your tracks,
hopeful to see you again,
every time I am reminded of you.

I sit in the middle of your tracks,
hoping to stand and run as far as I can.

To be never reminded again.
