Tears in your eyes
Blinking them away in shame
It hurts so much you vow
   No more pain
A broken smile
Becomes your mask
Finding your will to live
At the bottom of a flask
You tell me you feel safe with me
Then let out a small sigh
And I know if I look at you
I'll surely be the one to cry
