Where do you go
When he’s the only one?
Who can you talk to
When only by him your trust has been won?
What do you do
When you discover your heart breaking?
Standing in the midst of a life
That’s never been mine for the taking
Looking to you, waiting, wishing
Walls closing in, phone doesn’t ring
I want to hate you with all of me
Because to you I’ve become nothing
I try to heed your advice
But I don’t know how to not care
I’m not programmed that way
Is that why you’re not there?
Maybe I’m too good for you
Maybe you are the one who is blind
Maybe I’m not good enough for you
I just can’t seem to make up my mind
You couldn’t even respond
Do you understand the price of silence?
You are killing me; but I’m letting you
Once I dreamt you were my prince
Now I’m giving up
No longer dare to dream
Cold creeps through my chest
As I watch us quickly tear at the seams
Which bound us together
It won’t be long
Don’t know if we’ll ever know
Who did who wrong
