All these years
To none would I bow
Now that I've found you
I simply wonder how
One could love me, this way
This way I don't deserve
For the first time in my life
Gladly I'll serve
For something more
Than assuring my own
Power, control, and future
If only to call your heart my home
I never knew this simplicity
No complex guidelines to follow
The future seems so bright
The past merely hollow
For you, my faith
Will be found, regained
If only because you took my focus
And shifted it from my pain
I'll learn to trust
And even to pray
If you promise not to leave me
Until my dying day
I can't see me without you
I can't see me at all
Only question is
Will you stick around after you see me fall?
