I'm lost inside
But no one knows
I'm going numb
But I don't think it shows
My heart is closed
Except for when I'm in her arms
This fragile beauty who dares love
The one who only knows to harm
Lord knows how I love her
How she makes me tremble to the core
Where is she now?
Does she know I need her like never before?
My breathing is shallow
I don't want to leave my bed
My words keep hurting her
What's all this noise in my head?
Please don't let her leave me now
She's safe, she's warm, she's home
Curling up, imagining her near
Afraid to admit once she's gone I'm alone
I push her aside
As I beg her to stay
Seems I'm getting worse
By the fucking day
When I'm gone, tell her I will always love her
When I'm gone don't shed a tear
When I'm gone don't point the finger of blame
I simply had to leave the places I've come to fear
