I want to be eclipsed
Again
Broken between the ends
Of lives I never knew
A bare impression amidst the greens
And concrete grey
I want to wane
In the mist of a noon after viewing
When the clouds weep
And visitors wear the crinkled visage
Of an interrupted sleep
When hands trail
And their owners linger at goodbye
Among these relics
And remembrances of life
I want to darken and dim
As shadows slip into the gloom
When the light has been removed
A blur beyond the lens
I am simply waiting
To be fading out
Again.

the use of colour/shade adds another level of effectiveness to this gently wistful and touching piece... i love the fourth and fifth line in particular... beautifully said. :)

i loved this in your journal, and i love it here. melancholy as only cre can do it... sweetly sad... in a way that makes you not mind the tears quite so much. they seem part of the joy of being.

A lovely, wistful write. Absolutely gorgeous pictures created in my mind by this. The feeling of wanting to simply disappear, but with beauty and grace. Fantastic work. ~L
