In this silence
As crystal drops trickle
And shatter in my ears
Somehow music from the pain
Clangs beneath the skies
And I fall into this flood of fears

The beauty of love
Was pale and velvet to my lips
As we whispered in the darkened night
Designs lay traced
By soft and childish hands
Yet you held the fleeting wind so tight

She could not breathe
And final wisps fell aside
You kissed her broken heart
Her hand lay curled at your side
The chill cracked your veins
And even in her death you would not let her part

She could not fade away
And so she could not rest
She would lie dead, forever more
A memory at your side
In one breath, your child
Yet in the next, your whore

In this silence
As blood leaks from your blackened heart
And shatters unto the ground
Somehow the pain becomes her song
And she screams
And the sky absorbs the sound

Now you die
Fear is yours to breathe
And darkness dots your eyes
Your next breath, a tombstone's word
The wind will let you go, and hell may catch you up
For now, and for all time . . .

Goodbye.

I'm always amazed at how your words feel as thought they just flowed from you without editing or thought...just feelings. I feel soft darkness...and a mellow but horrindous ending. ~JMDW~
