I love these dark and rainy days
When the water plays tricks on my brain
Making me believe that you love me in some way
Hoping I'll get over it all someday

Tears from the sky pouring down
Forming puddles on the ground
Like the blood pouring from my veins
It's just as warm as the rain

And when you touch my skin through cluttered skies
Somehow I feel connected and the world passes me by
And even though I feel rejected from the sun's rays
I hold your hand and look up, for a second everythings ok

The rain flows constantly just like my love for you
And when we hold each other, I feel the sun shining through
Tears from the sky mixing with those from my eyes
When you whisper in my ear everything seems alright

I feel your hands soaking through my shirt
And for once when you leak into my heart... it doesn't hurt
My eyes are sparkled diamonds and the sun lifts me to the sky
And going down the road... I realize life never did pass me by
