In my thoughts and dreams
I have searched for you
But found no truth
In my heart and head
I beg for you to be real
But if you are, you just don't feel
They say you are the all almighty god
Yet you leave us here on this planet to rot
And destroy and kill all we can
What were you thinking when you created man?
I don't want your salvation or your "love"
And I don't want your forgiveness from above
If you are all they claim you to be
Then you know what will eventually happen to me
You know weather or not I will be "saved"
If I will go to hell and suffer in pain
But the truth is, I have never felt your touch
When I would beg and pray and scream out for your love
I've looked to the sky hoping to find you there
Searching and waiting in this life that's not fair
And I've come to realize in my short life
Nothing I could ask of you would make things right
(unfinished, I think)
