Hours, years, stars
have aged and died
morning to night
merely a second
has passed
an era lived
caught in the time
it took you
to walk away

Again

Leaving me
for Secondhand

As it ticks
the countdown
of life

And the chapter
has turned

Old

Steps forward
no looking back
no return to the past
time does not allow it
and I move towards
the next minute
no longer castoff

and the Secondhand
marches ever on

Strong.

A felt concept. The first stanza is very breath taking. You always give good work. +T.P.U+
