Just like
the dark side of the moon
she hides herself away
so mysterious
and so grave
the things she holds
in her heart
so dear
running waters
still
as he comes near
comforting, calming
knowing he
is there
a presence
not always
needing to be seen
to be felt
just like
the dark side of the moon.
Calming the waves
crashing within her
her anchor at sea
causing the tides
to swell
excite her
and bring her back
to shore
delicately
rolling in
rolling out
pushing forward
peaking white
receding
controlling her
riptides and currents.
Just like
the dark side of the moon.
A constant pull
grabbing
her dreams
so precious
not needing
to be shared
to be heard
he listens
with his heart
and conveys
his message
solemnly with
his eyes
willing to
unravel her mystery
all she holds inside
willing to venture to
the dark side of the moon.
