"Rain Dancing" by sweetambrosia

Spinning in slow
circles
hair plastered to
face
rain streaming down
cheeks
a semblance of
tears
clinging to glittering
eyeslashes
wind singing sweet
melodies
upon her seashell
ear
her water music
tonight.
Clothes clinging to
body
enhancing full breasts
unbound
skirt flairing delicately
outward
slapping against body
slickened.
Bare feet splash
dancing
within the puddles
formed
raising up on
tiptoes
to kiss full
moon
and gaze ever
upward
toward crying skies
home

as she dances
on.

Memories flash and dance within themselves, broken visions of a once joyous occasion, dancing in the rain for no reason. But for the rain itself, free abandon, love for nothing bu the love of love itself...

ambrosia... this is magical.. astoundingly beautiful.. tear wellingly vivid.. a moving, living scene. i always loved your "twirling" descriptions, but i think if i saw you in this scene, i would have to marry you. ill never stop reading this.

i have a total weakness for 'dance' pieces... this is lovely... "clinging to glittering eyeslashes" is extra-fab, too. beautiful write. :)
