Finding grace in misery,
contentment in tears.
Why do you weep so?
Is it from secrets none care to hear?

Or is it from heartache,
the loss of a loved one?
Or from heartbreak
the world undone?

Or are those tears
of joy in disguise
a well kept secret
behind a laughable lie?

Tell me of your sorrows
and cradle me in your embrace
we will wait on tomorrow
and find solace in today.

I will keep your secrets close
and confide in you mine
and all that was lost
we will together find.

We will learn to laugh and love
and forget all our trials
and neither will no longer weep
but instead begin to smile.
