Yellow

Yellow as friendship
kindness and love
talking and holding
comfort.

Yellow as your halo
glowing on me
showing me the way
to you.

Yellow as the sun
high in the sky
bright as you
soaking it up.

Yellow as the daisies
pushing up the ground
daisies you planted just
for me.

Yellow as the fear
running down my spine
swalling me whole at
empty thoughts.

Yellow gold...
Yellow days...
golden rays...
golden rings.

thoughts of forever
thoughts of yellow
thoughts of you

beautiful you

shining back at me
the sun behind you
sinking down
burning into sunset

red.

I refuse to see the circle as complete, for a circle has no end and no beginning, it is ceaseless, eternal essentially in our reckoning of time...This shall continue, if only in my own mind...
