White

White as a sheet
stained in fear
heart pounding
in ears.

White as heaven
clouds drifting by
angel feathers
sweeping cheeks.

White as purity
in your smile
in your love
dove in flight.

White as the peaks
on waves crashing
to the shore, crashing
in us.

White as your skin
creamy pale
flushed in rose
from our heat.

White hot...
White noise...
thundering...
cloudy.

hearing pounding
hearing white
hearing you

beautiful you

breaths gasping out in
puffs and through the
haze of white we see morning
coming in soft tones of

grey.

I love the beauty you portray in white, but I also love the part about the waves crashing within us. We have so much conflict deep within ourselves, but all the same, this is beautiful. Bring on the grey

Your entire Colour series has been beautifully constructed, connected and realised... I'd love to see them printed and illustrated in a gorgeous little book! :) purr
