White
White as a sheet
stained in fear
heart pounding
in ears.
White as heaven
clouds drifting by
angel feathers
sweeping cheeks.
White as purity
in your smile
in your love
dove in flight.
White as the peaks
on waves crashing
to the shore, crashing
in us.
White as your skin
creamy pale
flushed in rose
from our heat.
White hot...
White noise...
thundering...
cloudy.
hearing pounding
hearing white
hearing you
beautiful you
breaths gasping out in
puffs and through the
haze of white we see morning
coming in soft tones of
grey.
