Black

Black as the caverns
in your eyes holding
all the stars in the skies
hypnotizing.

Black as a moonless night
deep space, velvet blanket
holding us close
in sleep.

Black as bleak
feelings of helplessness
hopelessness in
the unknown.

Black as a blind man's sight
stumbling, trying to find
his way in a world with no
clear path.

Black as your mood
storm clouds rolling in
when all you hold dear
is threatened.

Black sheep...
Black hole...
sucking me into
the folds.

falling into space
falling into black
falling into you

beautiful you

holding me in your arms
good night, sleep tight
dream of heaven's
unearthly

white.

You are the first to notice... or at least say anything about "beautiful you". Yes... it is in every poem... part of what ties them together. --sweets

This is amazing. All the beauty and hate encompassed by black. I can't wait to see the white.
