Brown

Brown as the dirt
our land, our home
mother earth beneath
my feet.

Brown as the chocolate
sounds of your voice
and kisses velvety
sweet.

Brown as your skin
tanned in the sun
bleached leather
warmed and soft.

Brown as your scent
of earth and sweat
faintly musky
wholely yours.

Brown as sepia
toned memories
of the past, visions
of the future.

Brown eyes...
Chocolate brown...
earth and sky...
entertwined.

tasting home
tasting brown
tasting you

beautiful you

looking at me
falling into your
gaze, swallowing
me in cavernous

black.

"sepia toned memories" is vivid, creates an immediate atmosphere, like an old movie. you seem to post nearly every day. like as if all these gentle prose come naturaly, as everyday thoughts... perhaps like a trance you live in, a sepia toned movie.
