Green

Green as jealousy
to see you go with
Him, even knowing
I will see you again.

Green as greed
wanting to keep
you here, always
with me.

Green as the feelings
rising up my throat
sickly nauseous
as you leave.

Green as the flecks
found deep within
your eyes, closing slowly
goodnight.

Green as a lush
clover field
blanketed in luck
covering you.

Greeneyed...
Greenback...
luck and money
monster.

feeling wistful
feeling green
feeling you

beautiful you

lying there
oh so peaceful
lowered down
into earth

brown.

I love this series. Colors have so much power. If you ever want to learn about the power of color on the human conciousness, read "The Doors of Perception", Aldous Huxley. Once again, great work
