Red

Red as a bleeding heart's
last dying breath
gasping, pleading
for release.

Red as your hair
in the rays of the sunset
russet locks falling sofly
covering your face.

Red as my love
burning for you
through veins screaming
seething in rage.

Red as my passion
need to save
and regret
singeing the past.

Red as my pain
crying tears
of my broken heart
shattered.

Redhot...
bloodred...
valentine...
baby mine.

seeing stars
seeing red
seeing you

beautiful you

gazing back at me
through the haze
of clouds drifting
off to brilliant

blue.

ahhh lovely, always a joy to read. every single stanza holds vivid visions, deep feelings, some kind of feeling of burning hot blood in the sun. warmth somehow felt, until slowly drained out to blue.

I have to make a comment, i'll try make it good with care! 6th stanza was very lyrical and worked well, especially the transition to blue at the end, it works well in contrast to red repetition...was that a good comment?

That was beautiful. Truly. It was something I would write so from one poet to another - cheers.
