He comes up
behind me
wrapping his arms
around me tightly
dipping his head to kiss my neck
and rest lightly there
I could stay in
this moment forever
freeze frame it and lock it away
oh, to be able to pull this up and
experience it like an old movie
time and again
I am home
in these arms
and safe
to be able to capture
this moment in time
and keep it always.

He breaths in my scent
slightly ruffling my hair
pressing his body closer to mine
he fits so perfectly there
right there behind me
and then he shifts
oh so slightly
and for a moment
I fear that he is moving
to leave me standing there
bereft of his warmth
but no... he has only moved
to line himself more securely
and now he fits
more surely
than he had before.
