What do you want from me?
I've given all I have,
but you seem to have seen
through all that.

The half truths and whole lies
that worked on everyone else
didn't seem to faze you
as you forced me to see myself.

The barriers I put up
and the cages I built
came crashing down
over the tears I spilled.

You've stripped it all away
leaving me with this vulnerability
now I'm asking,
what do you want from me?

I guess you want just
the basics: openness and honesty
well, here you go...
This is me.

If you are being yourself, that's all people need to see. It's so easy to be yourself... sometimes
