Ambling along on the
slippery rocks, the water
foams around my feet,
knocking me into the
chilling cold.

First comes fright
at the swiftness
of the water.

Then comes utter
delight at the
twist and turns
and ups and downs
and curving bends.

Soon I embank from
my exciting journey,
the memory still
fresh in mind.

Rage, the river
of my youth.
