Feathers hanging down
from a spider web
woven intricately to
capture invading insects,
allowing cool breezes and
moonbeam dreams to filter
through.
Standing ever watchful
guard over innocence
slumbering.
Dawn erupts, dispelling all
shadows.

between these words i feel the love of a parent, a simple gesture, sweet, a symbol of ever-loving protection. "...cool breezes and moonbeam dreams..." magical words.

I do not see a new beginning as much as I wonder... Can you, like a spider, drain the energy of what gets caught and use it to your advantage?

this spider seems to be on guard , not allowing the bad stuff to pass ... thus the dreams , and the breeze flow through --- he is there for the benefit of the innocents
