As quick as all and twice as so
Stoop to kneal and pluck the rose
And take a profit, take one quick
And sale your heart to heal the sick
And climb up high a dogwood tree
And breathe the smog, yes breathe it free
For should you slip and should you fall
Know it's better all in all
For twice as quick as all is naught
With sooner's quicker 'twill be forgot
And roses pick'd near the ground
Are scarcely worth having 'round
And smog breathed free is smog yet still
And such will still slowly kill
But should you climb a dogwood tree
All the world would worship thee.
