I’m closing my eyes
And seeing you for the first time
You’re beautiful,
So beautiful
There’s a smile on your face
And no one can tear down your grace
They called you names and broke your heart
But the strength you’ve now, is the beautiful part
And that soft glimmer of hope that still resides
Peaks through your darkened eyes
And makes you beautiful,
So beautiful
And maybe one day you’ll close your lids
And see the beauty that lives.

*Cierra, my love, you are beautiful
