It is time for change
Who can abide a worn home and empty bags?
Spring at last! Time for a new beginning and Moving Season!
Change faces in a cycle like the moon’s;
Grow richer and vibrant like green
Smaragdine; cast aside old skin like a snake.

For through familiarity, boredom snakes
And slithers, unfeeling, dumb and unchanged.
Boredom is always the same- so pack your bags
To avoid it and prepare for rebirth this season!
Cut loose and be naked. Howl at the moon.
You are lucky to be so young and green.

Stop saying please and stop eating your greens.
Unlearn your manners and be devilish like the snake
Who preached to Eve. He was bored with that life, so he changed
It and moved on to something better; he bagged
A few of those tasty apples and left. Seasoned
Traveler you may already be, but it is time to view another moon.

Now is no time for gazing at the moon.
I want to stay right where I am to enjoy the green
Grass “beach” and newly awakened sun. Besides, I hate snakes.
I hate their vile pealing skin! I shall resist your change
And I shall resist your packed yet nearly empty bags!
Now is a time for rest; upon us is the Sunbathing Season.

Leave me be, oh restless spirit! I am not ripe this season!
Do not pluck me from this beloved stem. By moon-
Shine, look! I am still too new, too green!
Do not whisper fallacies in my ear, sly snake.
I will linger where I may, and shall change
In only subtle ways. Life does not fit inside a bag.

Then go without the bag! All the earth is yours for it is moving season!
There is hardly a light on this moonless night- only a stoplight glowing green.
A heavenly sign! Shall I shed my home like a restless snake, or pack it in a bag?

Incredible - Sunshine Season, let me bathe in the warmth of your grass education and I care little if the snakes find me. beautifully expressed!
