The most fearful ordeal, my friend
Is the road that must wend despite a soul split in two
The ever looming new, replaces the old end
I hate to say goodbye again, but I live for such pursuit

Tears are not but recycled dreams and the realization of their death
Adieu, adieu! Yon bedecked fields are no longer for me
The winking lights of cities and sorrow call for me to catch my breath
To sense the darkest depth of innocence lost, the broken family tree

It is my fault, I do admit, though it pains my hardened heart
Though, time spent apart, they say, makes the heart grow fonder
Fodder for my core should banned for the preservation of my art
This eternal maize is in part, a labyrinth of sad soul, a realm to ponder

So the end, it seems, friend, is pending necessarily for sure
Loneliness is my choice, fate a wandering search for truth obscured
