spring's first sunshine
caresses my face
kissing the winter pale skin
of my wrists
i am lying on my back in the street
looking at the shredded clouds..
the neighborhood bully rides his bike
towards me,
but i do not notice him-
(i am lost at the sea in the sky)
and when i find myself again, it is too late
there are tire tracks down the front
of my favorite pink dress
and my front tooth, a pearl in my palm
