When dreams and sleep
awake- tasteless, gone
life's charade, for a moment, dies

Im introduced
anew to endless blanks
the white walls of disappointment

To remember
again, the bland events
of the pointless rising of day

I slump deep down
within folds of sick heart
and hide away in drowsiness

For dread of life
and still, aloof boredom
is my ugly unconscious fear

Yet to awake
and breathe for empty hope
event-less pleasure is my pain
