you were born

and gave a cry of surprise…

for there was no applause at your arrival

the world spins ever onwards in its jaded revolutions

in your eyes, the trees were never green enough

and the flowers, never fair enough

the angels always beat their wings too loudly

and tigers displayed their stripes a little too proudly

the stars, in your eyes, were arrogant and boasting

for they shone of light that you’d never possess

die die, my darling, I’ll be seeing you in hell

fly fly, my angel to a place not so foreboding

we’ll meet again when the moon and the mountains melt as one,

when the sun turns to stone and the earth into jam…

when the daffodils bloom and laugh at your foolishness

for the yellow flecks in your eyes portray my heart so fully

and when I focus upon delight,

I see your smile

So we’ll wait awhile, in this glassy existence and soak in the delicacy ….

You were born…

Lucifer and god looked on in amazement

For they could not decide to which realm you belonged

For to each, they chose you has enemy and advisor

the world spins ever onwards in its jaded revolutions

for the world, they say is visible to only those who view it

as rose tinted

and your heart, they say, would melt any diamond…

turn the hard rock to a bubbling toxic concoction

and when i think of you, i think of pink with

black angrily mixed together...for some reason

for some reason….

For the reasons of the earth, the clouds and the rocks

I’ll paint a picture from dreams

And you’ll see…

You’ll see a chase scene

From a Hollywood production
