candles cast shadows in the moonlight
scented winds... sweep spring nights
hibiscus blossoms sway in the sun
yesterday's laundry left undone
white wine, straw hats and silk ribbons
mellow pleasure, chocolate eclair happiness
writing fairytale stories in trees
light headedness, caught like disease
the late July sunshine.. softened by breeze
tears of happiness replace winter's sorrow
dreams fulfilled, not swept aside for tomorrow
the sun dawns with delight upon a sleeping world
the earth awakens fresh-
FRESH?
light headedness is hardly the disease
the harsh sun hardly softened by breeze
my heart is still filled with the same self demise
still trapped... in my bitter winter lies
the world is rotting in sunshine
silly teenagers have broken out of jail
their commercialistic values after a year, have not paled
to be a non conformist, you still must wear black...
the boys are still flashing boxer covered cracks..
and me?
-making fun of all your pitiful little lives
i am still sitting at home...writing poetry that rhymes

LOVE the transitions... positive to negative in such a breathtaking swoop... absolutely wonderful - / Lucia /
