like a shrimp among whales
i listen to you as you tell your tale
who am i to speak these hopeful words?
when so many go unheard?
an artist of thoughts
a weaver of words
pride like a golden medal
a deadly sign pinned upon my vest
a constant dagger to the chest
leaving the blood of arrogance on my hands
and the flesh of vanity on my lips
i thought
i guess i thought too soon
i see hatred in a mirrored room
hold her in a box of glass
treat her
as one of artemis' silvery shafts
quick death
upon innocent youth
number the hatred arrows that you shoot
inferiority
emotion
i reek of it
as if i drank a bottle of alchoholic
second class
fill me up another glass
mix in some poison
a stupor of bitter remorse
if you wont let me have the world
should i take it by force?
fall off
bleed
get back on the horse
be humbled
nature can write better than you
be humbled
there are so many people better than you
