I see ignorance & insanity. I see arrogance & naivete. I see materialism over integrity. I see the lowest common denominator as a sales strategy. I see the television programmming us into lifestyles of vanity. I see our choice to make money and avoid human responsibility. I see an absence of principles and morality. I see we are poisoning our human family. I see ignorance & insanity. I see arrogance & naivete. I see materialism over humanity. I see that we poison our young people casually. I see war for oil and profit as policies of our government. I see sex and violence as good old fashion American entertainment. I see underage girls selling naked photos through cyberspace. I see more and more finding ways to exploit the human race. I see ignorance & insanity. I see arrogance & naivete. I see materialism over decency. I see the blind made blind by popular culture. I see Hollywood movie "stars" and ghetto "superstars". I see gangsters, hustlers, thugs, dogs, demons, and devils as role models. I see the individual over society. I see evil over the family. I see ignorance & insanity. I see arrogance & naivete. I see the individual placing himself above the good of humanity. I see man's attempts to escape from man... Whether it be financially, physically, mentally, or spiritually. I see man deserting man. I see man deserting woman. And I see man and woman deserting children. But there is no escape. For we are all human beings. And we all of one spirit and one planet. And ultimately... We can't run away from ourselves. So, there is only one choice for we who realize who we are, and we who realize the consequences of our own actions upon others... To stand up and face what IS as mature people... In the ways of peace, love, and unity. In the ways of justice, truth, and integrity. In the ways of intelligence, decency, and responsibility. In the ways of health, happiness, and prosperity. In the name of a future... And in the name of our children. Or not. But when we play with fire... Eventually, we get burned. © 2005 Seth David King
