A distant parody of the Raven, by Edgar Allen Poe.
Server not found you said to me
No matter how much I swore
Or how much I would plead
Tapping, clicking, typing and more
You simply continued your blank stare
With the words changing, nevermore
Screamed did I, though little it did do
So I slammed the keyboard
Surely this will work on you!
Smacking, punching, throwing and more
The blank white page mocking
With the browser changing, nevermore
At this my rage only increased
Agony of withdrawal filling my heart
Leaving my sound reason, deceased
Begging, pleading, praying and more
Until I fell on hands and knees
Your words the same, evermore
Delirious now, with the thought
Of the things I’ll have missed
The things I could’ve been taught
Weeping, pacing, swearing and more
Though your words the same
Your laughter grows, more and more
Surely they will forget me
My beloved dark poetry
My heart crying out to be saved
Yet here I sit trapped and enslaved
By this monstrosity of a machine
Ohh I beg you please let me be
Let me go
Let me be free!!!
Simply quote the machine,
Nevermore…..
