Darkness surrounds me
My alluring blue eyes
Entranced upon the
Twinkling Stars in the Sky
A full moon is out tonight
The wind is blowing
A slightly chilled breeze
The bare trees are swaying
Appear dead on the outside
But on the inside
they somehow manage to live
My short black hair
swirls in the wind
Oh so gently grazing my face
I hear the tender whispers
making myself believe
they are only the Ghosts
of those who haven't
finished up their last business
My heart pulses
a slow and rythmic beat
to the fears
that make their way
through my head
Skimming their fingers
ever so tenderly
across my mentality
slightly placing their lips
on my soul
Torturing me with this
fatal kiss
Beseeching me to join them
in their Toxic Universe
of Nothingness
I find the seduction
Tantalizing
Deciding to join them
They read my mind
and raise me up into the sky
as if I were an offering
To a higher power
Their voices
Shouting praises
My dress lashing all about
as if a monsoon had decided
to come for a late night visit
The Darkness devours me
as the flames consume
and I
I become one of them
The Chosen

Wow babe. I felt like I was there for this one. Like I stood beside you. My story is differently worded but we find similarities in this work. Greatness. -Doll
